Oops, that “thanks” doesn’t quite read before the “sure”. I’d love a proper Freudian analysis of this scene haha. A lot of this stuff seems viscerally right to me though I haven’t put it into words. Eve DOES find that she has something to give, even to a petulant, ungrateful subject, and that giving can make her feel like something more. Sex or nurture, it’s all the same. She’s drawn to this space of wanting to give, where Sean’s need has created a vacuum. |
