Didn't Jacob get that tattoo later or am I imagining thing.
She does at one point scratch her neck and express discomfort at it in the next guild-related arc. I don't think it appears through her hair though.
Being honest, this has always been my least favourite storyline in an otherwise fantastic comic–i tend to skip through it. I think the suspension of disbelief becomes a little much–it doesn't feel like part of Eve's life.
I will always remember "Booze what I need!"
