This and the page before it are pretty blunt. First Will accepts the label of “girlfriend” freely and casually, then Mar objectifies him as a living mannequin. Does life have any purpose at all for these two? I do think it’s sweet that Will doesn’t think Mar is stupid, and Mar doesn’t think he’s boring. Good for them, in a place and time. |

Serious question: I don't understand the commentary at all. What's wrong with Will accepting the relationship, or Mar trying out a hat on him?
That they're being in this relationship out of casual convenience rather than something more tangible.
