Just looking at these lines I see a lot of brush breakthroughs that happened in quick succession. I think I was really letting loose with the cartoony poses and allowing my lines to go where they may. Layout-wise this definitely could’ve been expanded to a 3-pager to really drive home the flow of action. But it’s presented nicely enough, and the visual gag has a music and noise to it. |
I envision a Bullet Time effect in panels 2,3, and 6 in the style of the “I know Kung Fu” scene in The Matrix.
how is it possible to draw the collective gasp of a crowd, and then their thunderous cheer of victory? bloody brilliant storytelling in black and white and grey!
