If it isn’t obvious, I was super into classic Love Comics when I did this bit. In 2008 it was a real challenge for me to draw semi-realistic characters. It would probably be really damn hard now too. |

Yesss, my favorite story line!
A long time ago I did a fake 50s romance comic cover for someone's webcomic amd I wanted to study them and break down what the identifiers of the style was. It turns out the biggest one is they were exceptionally well rendered by masters of drafting so I wasn't really setting myself up for success.
