"Let's just agree everyone's ready to be a hero already." Wonderful. Such a great use of cliche. I've described this comic to people as a series of urban fables - every storyline has its focused demonstration of a broad question or conflict, tied up with an honest, no holds barred moral at the end, and behind it all a cast and environment that either flow and jerk around as natural as life itself. And even when they're torn out of their flow to make a point, it's acknowledged and visible and part of the art, not an underpinning to keep out of sight and pretend it's not there. Rock on. Never stop being that artist, Meredith.

The newspaper with the headline "CAFE TRAINING 'GOING WELL'" seems to have indented the "WELL" to accommodate Eve's head. Neat.

I haven't read the whole backlog, but I read the ski lodge episode. That's the first we heard of the Guild, right? Or am I wrong?

What I'm REALLY asking is: do we know how Eve got into the Guild? Because she doesn't seem at all psyched about it any more, right?

Oh so that's what the itchiness was all about. And here I was worried that Eve had been neglecting basic hygiene. I do hope to see more payoffs on that quirk later on.
