I wish this story would’ve “aired” in full color. I actually undertook a project with Sloane Leong to color it, but ended up being distracted by obligations and never quite wrapped it up. I really ought to dig these pages up and give them a home somewhere. The comic is just so dark in grey and hard to parse, to my eye. But it’s also a grey kind of story, haunting and cold even in moments meant to be tender. Let’s begin. |
