Huh, I never noticed Jane was taller than Eve.

I love how grumpy Eve is always a magnet for the type of person who delights in secret trapdoors and general tomfoolery. Though she better watch out- if she's any ruder to Mike, he might furrow his brow and rub his nose in a sort-of-irritated way.

You know, in that second panel, I thought it might just be ***AMERICA***JONES!*** and I got so freaking excited. Then when I saw it was Jane, I got even more excited. And when she pressed the button, I thought I was gonna die.

Most of OC's humor is made from cultural references, banter and slang. It's grounded in something like plausible personalities and real life, though, otherwise it wouldn't work.

But this "guild" thing is different It's pure contrivance, without a grain of truth in it.
