I really like this comic…but I have to say I kind of miss the old style. The new style is really rad too. But..I dunno. u.u I kinda like how Ning looks more grumpy in the earlier chapters..xD
As a service to those people trying to find when the Alt text or Hovertext started, strip 256 is where you need to go 😉
but then you would miss out on 255 great comic strips, bet there are a few you cant remember.

I don't know how many times I've hit the "first comic" button accidentally and have gone on to basically re-read 3 hours worth of comics. Time to clear my schedule…
You can just press the back button at the top of the page to go back. If for whatever reason you don’t have both forward and back facing arrows at the top of your browser you can go into your history and click on where you last were in the comic to return there. Re-read the whole archive this week in anticipation of the end, and I'm going to miss Eve and her friends so much. Thank you Meredith, for creating and sustaining this amazing story for as long as you have! It has made such an impact on me–I consider OP to be pioneering in the web-comic landscape and will remember it as one of the greatest of all time.

How long have I followed this comic for, I don't even know. But this journey has been simply wonderful, following everyone's stories. It was incredible. I want to thank you Meredith for this wonderful story. We all love your work, and what you did. Thank you so much, and we love you. <3<3<3
I'm so freaking excited that Octopus Pie is coming back with official author commentary! Can you say "clearing my schedule to reread it all"?! (Okay, that wasn't clever, but you get the point.)
What a legend, what an absolute legend. I remember when I discovered this comic when I was a kid, and now after more than 10 years I’m rereding it and appreciating it so much more. It’s an unusual mix of goofy and mature that comes out damn endearing and earnest.
